Klarna

Klarna is on a mission to create the worlds smooothest shopping experience. During my time at Klarna I got to lead that work from a design perspective as the design lead of the app ecosystem and shopping experience domain. Exploring, designing and building new functionality and product experiences that brought Klarna closer to that vision.

My role gave me the chance to work with pivotal changes to Klarnas product ecosystem. Such as making the mobile app and web an shopping destination, launching a shopping loyalty program, redesigning nurturing email and Klarnas web site. This most often involved me leading the design work and worked close with other competences to deliver on milestones to create impact.

I also focused on growing the competence in the domain that I was leading. With that becoming one of the largest design domains in the organization with 23 designers working on different shopping initiatives. This responsibility also involved me to set standards and rituals on how we should operate to become an effective design organization.

I was the lead designer when Klarna designed and launched their new super app. In this initiative we design a new way for users to navigate and use the app. We also design a new set of icons set to be used in the new design, read more.

When Klarna pivoted towards shopping (previously payments) I was part of trusted team of designers who together with the management team designed and built a north star prototype that showed how the organisation should make the transition.
